About

We love exploring ideas about what it is to be human in today’s world.  Our goal is to create books, products, and services that connect, inspire, and motivate meaningful change.

We’re inclusive of all human beings, regardless of colour, culture, and gender expression.

Founders

Yoona Hawkins, M.C., is an educator and clinical counsellor. Her research is centred on concepts of connectedness at different levels of existence and how they inform our experience of life. Her ideas on causality and synchronicity, as they relate to counselling therapy, have been published in the UK Adlerian Yearbook, 2016 edition.

She prefers deeper conversations to small talk. She also loves Korean cold buckwheat noodles (냉면), hence our name.

Mark A. Hawkins, Ph.D., is an author, educator, and clinical counsellor. He has been interviewed by The New York Times, The Daily Telegraph, and several other news stations and podcasts for his ideas.

His research focuses on interdisciplinary understandings of meaning and purpose as they relate to human wellbeing. Mark was published in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology and is the author of The Power of Boredom: Why Boredom is Essential for Creating a Meaningful Life, and The Mismatched Human: Our Fight for a Meaningful Existence.

Mark likes to try out new recipes, research new topics, and go hiking.
